Duxbury Middle School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of part-time (.4 FTE) Tutor for the English Language Arts intervention program.

Responsibilities include working in small groups to support students with literacy concepts taught in the classroom.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Management skills that support learning
• Ability to collaborate in order to meet the needs of students
• Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
• Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for small group instruction
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current teacher certification from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

Part-time position - schedule to be determined at the start of the school year.
