Alden School is seeking exceptional candidates for the role of elementary building-based Substitute Teacher to fill a leave of absence from 8/28/24 to 2/14/25.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular teacher
- Implementing lesson plans created by the teacher
- Fulfilling other non-instructional duties during the instructional day
- Supporting student learning across all settings
- Perform other such duties as assigned by the building administrator or their designee
Requirements:
- Associate's degree
- Experience working with students with and without disabilities
- Flexibility and the ability to collaborate with students, teachers, support staff and administrators
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Teacher Certification preferred
Salary: $125.00 per/day
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday
