Duxbury High School is seeking candidates for the position of Afterschool Assistant for students participating in co-curricular activities who require additional support. The schedule will require one hour after school each weekday, either from 3-4pm or 4-5pm. The position would start immediately and conclude around the second week in March 2025.
Requirements:
- Ability to collaborate in order to meet the needs of students
- Ability to communicate with coaches and service providers
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners and ensuring compliance with educational plans
- Experience collecting observational data
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associate Degree considered with relevant experience
- Previous teaching experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
