Duxbury High School is seeking a highly qualified certified Long Term Substitute High School Mandarin Teacher. This teacher would teach four sections of Mandarin (levels II V) and oversee one section of Rosetta Stone. Anticipated dates are April 28, 2025 - June 13, 2025 (June 13 is the last day of school without any snow days; the last day with five additional days would be June 23, 2025).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Classroom management skills that support students' social-emotional learning
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts World Language Curriculum Frameworks
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsement
